Job Description:

Reichard Staffing is currently hiring Foreclosure Support and Foreclosure Affidavit Specialists for a national banking institution in Richmond, VA. These are long term contracts that will last 6-11 months. Typical hours for this position will be Monday - Friday 8:00 - 5:00 p.m. Pay will be determined after a phone screening.

 

Foreclosure Support Specialist: Will prepare Assignments of Mortgage, Substitution of Trustee documents, Statements of non-military Service, etc. Also responsible for the required supporting documentation for all documents prepared. Responsible for overall compliance with policies and procedures for all foreclosure types (CONV, FHA, VA). Effectively communicate with senior management team to reach department and corporate goals. Successfully work in a fast paced and ever changing environment.

Responsible for the preparation of foreclosure documents for execution to include research and retrieval of supporting documentation from various internal systems. Responsible for routine mortgage default activities including foreclosure related business transactions. Team members must also audit completed work for errors before submitting and correspond with attorneys/paralegals to ensure that documents are completed for foreclosure sales in a timely manner.

 

Minimum Qualifications for level 1:

1 to 2+ years of back office financial services industry experience. High School Diploma or equivalent. Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and follow up on all issues daily. Attention to detail, good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills. Good PC Skills. Basic knowledge of financial services/banking principles and regulations.

The ideal candidate must be a self starter, have the ability to multi-task, must be logical. Ability to resolve difficult issues in a timely manner. Good interpersonal skills. Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook experience

 

Minimum Qualifications for level 2:

High School Diploma or equivalent and 2-3+ years back office financial services industry experience. Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and follow up on all issues daily. Attention to detail and solid research skills. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Strong PC Skills. Fundamental knowledge of financial services/banking principles and regulations.

The ideal candidate must show initiative, have an ability to multi-task, must be analytical, and demonstrate good communication skills; both oral and written. Ability to resolve difficult situations and issues a timely manner. Great interpersonal skills. Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook experience. Must be eligible to manage or perform loan origination or servicing functions under Mortgage Investor or government agency guideline requirements.

 

Foreclosure Support Affidavit Specialist: Process affidavits forwarded by the foreclosure attorney. Requests judgment figures, AOM’s and SOT’s. Reconciles escrow.


Ensures that foreclosure affidavits on individual accounts are completed in a timely manner, according to investor/insurer, state, and regulatory guidelines, minimizing financial losses to the company. May work with legal and other departments to process affidavit correctly. Handles and complete daily tasks given by lead and supervisor. Serve as primary contact for attorneys. Resolve escalated issues and complaints.
